A friend of mine had some problems. If/When it goes to court a judge can let the agencies use the accounts to payoff debt. It is a factor in claiming bankrupcy.

They look at it as &quot;If you can afford to save, you can afford your bills&quot;

If you have a problem try to deal directly with the collection agency. They will likely settle the debt for much less.</description>
